Emirati Passports for Citizens Over 21 Now Valid for 10 Years
International travel previously required at least six months of passport validity.

The Cabinet of the UAE has announced a major change to adult citizens’ passports, which will now be valid for 10 years instead of five.
The decision is a huge step for travel lovers and international business people alike, since international travel previously required at least six months of passport validity.
As part of the same program of improvements, the Cabinet added that further travel facilitations and comprehensive digital services would be provided by relevant authorities, making travel for Emirati nationals all the more straightforward.
