The decree also includes reforming the Board of Directors of the Catholic Church Endowment Authority for a four-year term.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has issued a decree to establish endowment authorities for Egypt’s Catholic and Evangelical communities. The decree also includes reforming the Board of Directors of the Catholic Church Endowment Authority for a four-year term. The board will be led by the Coptic Catholic Patriarch of Alexandria Bishop Ibrahim Isaac Sidrak.
Similarly, the Evangelical Church Endowment Authority will undergo a reform of its board for a four-year term. The board will be led by Dr. Andrea Zaki, the Head of the Evangelical Community and President of the General Evangelical Council. These decisions, as mentioned in Dr. Andrea Zaki's letter of gratitude to President Sisi, aim to support the values of citizenship and promote justice and equality among all Egyptians.
The Catholic and Evangelical Endowment Authorities will serve as administrative bodies responsible for managing and investing the assets and funds dedicated to the benefit of the Catholic and Evangelical communities across Egypt.
