Four International Golf Tournaments to Launch in Egypt in Early 2026
The Egyptian Golf Federation and MENA Tour announce a four-event golf series starting January 2026, each offering USD 100,000 prize money.
The Egyptian Golf Federation has confirmed a strategic partnership with the MENA Tour to host the Egypt Golf Series, a sequence of four international tournaments scheduled between January and February 2026. Each event will carry a prize fund of USD 100,000 and allocate points towards the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) for professionals, as well as the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) for top amateurs.
The collaboration is intended to provide Egyptian players with broader competitive pathways and help them progress towards Olympic qualification. He emphasised that the tour’s official OWGR-authorised status aligns with this objective.
The four-week series will be staged consecutively, beginning January 19th and running through February 5th, 2026, with the specific tournament venues to be announced later.
The choice of consecutive scheduling aims to offer players continuity of competition.
The series is also part of the broader 2025-26 MENA Tour schedule which consists of 12 events across the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, signalling the tour’s renewed expansion and Egypt’s rising profile as a host nation.
