GFF Partners With WFP to Launch Competition Highlighting Food Security

The World Food Programme in Egypt has partnered with El Gouna Film Festival to launch a new short film competition, 3eish. The competition aims to spotlight films dealing with issues of food security.

The short film competition will focus on using cinematic storytelling to raise awareness and inspire action on the topic.

The deadline for submissions is October 14th, after which a panel made up of leaders of the film industry and members of GFF will select the finalists. The winning short film will be announced at an exclusive event during the 7th edition of El Gouna Film Festival, and will be screened to the public at the festival’s 8th edition.

The 7th edition of El Gouna Film Festival will run from October 24th to November 1st.
