Haya Karima Launches National Mental Health Initiative

Haya Karima - the national campaign to improve living conditions in Egypt’s rural areas - has launched its first mental health initiative, under the slogan ‘Etkalem Hanesma’ak’ (Speak Up, We Will Listen). Geared towards all age groups in Egypt, the awareness campaign seeks to shed light on various mental health conditions, equipping individuals with vital insights, resources, and psychological support.

During its initial stage, the initiative's team of psychotherapists has conducted assessments for 145 citizens, guiding them to appropriate specialists as needed. The campaign also focused on early detection of mental illnesses, providing parents with the necessary tools to engage and intervene with their children.
