Lammah Al Bahr Brings Beachside Culture to Al Mugheirah Beach

Lammah Al Bahr, a new addition to Abu Dhabi’s festival calendar, is bringing a mix of adventure, heritage, and entertainment to Al Mugheirah Beach from February to June 2025. This free event features a diverse programme designed to reflect the UAE’s coastal traditions.

From zip-lining and beach volleyball to paddle tennis and an aqua park, the festival offers a wide range of sports and outdoor activities. Those seeking a more relaxed experience can enjoy the beach club, offering a scenic retreat along the Arabian Gulf.

At the heritage zone, attendees can explore Abu Dhabi’s maritime past through live demonstrations of pearl diving, dhow sailing and traditional fishing. The Art Haus gallery showcases regional artists, with installations and craft exhibitions highlighting local talent.

Food is a central part of the experience, with a dedicated food park serving a variety of options, from Emirati specialties to global street food. Fresh seafood, grilled meats, and traditional desserts offer a taste of the region’s culinary diversity.

Visitors planning a longer stay will find nearby hotels offering special rates, while a caravan park launches in March, followed by glamping options in April for those looking to experience a night by the sea.

With plans for a permanent presence, Lammah Al Bahr aims to establish Al Mugheirah Beach as a year-round destination for cultural and recreational activities.
