Luxor Police Made This City Playground to Teach Kids About Traffic
If ever there was an exception to letting your kids play in traffic, this would be it.
A colourful new playground has been set up in the backyard of the Shefa Al Orman Hospital for Paediatric Cancer. Created by the Luxor Traffic Administration, this cute little city comes with cute little electric cars for kids to hop in, drive about, and learn all about the rules of the road. If ever there was an exception to letting your kids play in traffic, this would be it.
Many of the children in the hospital were given the opportunity to play under the careful supervision of Luxor's traffic officers, who guided them every step of the way and taught them everything they needed to know about traffic laws, etiquette and what exactly all those road signs mean.
The playground is part of a larger framework for community engagement within the Shefa Al Orman Hospital, with institutions across Luxor and Egypt looking to do their part to brighten up the lives of the children staying there.
