The Ministry of Health and Population is in talks with German healthcare company Siemens Healthineers to establish the first virtual hospital in Egypt and the Middle East. This collaboration with Siemens Healthineers aims to enhance remote diagnosis using cutting-edge smart programs in the field.

Siemens Healthineers, in tandem with the Ministry and Unified Purchasing Authority, will supply 90 mammogram units for breast imaging, aligning with the President's initiative to promote women's health and early breast cancer detection.

The ministry and Siemens had previously collaborated in establishing the first simulation laboratory for training on CT and MRI devices at the Technical Institute of Health in Ismailia, the first ever of its kind.
