Ministry of Planning Allocates EGP 3.7B to Hire 70,000 Professionals
Approximately half a billion Egyptian pounds have been set aside for conducting promotions for state employees as well.
The Egyptian government has allocated EGP 3.7 billion towards the appointment of 70,000 professionals in various sectors, including teachers, doctors and pharmacists. This budget allocation aims to bolster the country's workforce and meet the growing needs of the state.
Approximately half a billion Egyptian pounds have been set aside for conducting promotions for state employees. Additionally, the tax exemption limit for both government and private sector workers will be increased by 50% during the upcoming fiscal year 2023/2024. This adjustment comes at a cost exceeding EGP 10 billion pounds annually.
