Ministry of Sports Awards EGP 4 Million to Paralympic Gold Winners
The victorious Paralympians will receive the same financial prizes as Olympic winners.

Upon the Egyptian delegation’s return from the Paris 2024 Paralympics, the Ministry of Youth and Sports announced that Paralympic winners will be awarded the same financial prizes as Olympic winners. In the announcement, the Minister of Sports explained that, “There is no difference between Paralympic winners and Olympic winners.”
Consequently, Paralympic gold winners will be awarded EGP four million, while silver and bronze medalists will be awarded EGP 3 million and EGP 2 million respectively.
