Mwasalat & Sharjah’s RTA Launch New Bus Service Connecting UAE & Oman
The service aims to facilitate closer ties between the two nations by improving cross-border connectivity.

Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority has partnered with Mwasalat, Oman's national transport company, to launch a new bus service connecting the United Arab Emirates with Oman.
A daily service is poised to initiate operations starting from February 27th, with a comprehensive schedule of four trips per day: two originating from Sharjah and two from Muscat. The routes will traverse through Shinas, a pivotal transit point, facilitating seamless travel experiences. The service aims to provide travellers on both ends of the journey with enhanced convenience and accessibility.
The service permits a maximum of 23 kilograms for checked-in baggage and an additional seven kilograms for carry-on baggage. Fares for the standard service begin as low as 10 Oman Rials (equivalent to Dh95.40), while the premium service starts at 29 Oman Rials (equivalent to Dh276.66).
