Nelly Karim and Former Squash Star Hisham Ashour Are Getting Married

Actress Nelly Karim has found her Prince Charming and they don’t get much more princely or charming than renowned former squash star, Hisham Ashour. The happy couple revealed to #CairoScene that they will wed this month after getting engaged in a private ceremony among friends and family - and they even extended an invite to us, meaning we’ll have exclusive coverage of the big day.

Hisham came to prominence in squash in the early-to-mid 2010s alongside his brother, Ramy, with many crediting them with paving the way for Egypt’s squash stars of today. After retiring in 2014, Hisham went on to pass his experience down by opening up a squash academy in the US where he also began flirting with the world of acting, taking several workshops in Hollywood. He would later go on to star alongside legend of the screen, Yousra, in TV series, ‘Civil War’, in 2020, while also opening several squash academies with his brother.
