Set to host dozens of foreign embassies, local government offices, and ultimately become Egypt’s administrative and financial capital, the New Administrative Capital has just been dubbed the Best Sustainable Development project in the Arab World for 2021.
Built with the intent of relieving congestion, the capital city will house over 20 million citizens as well as international incomers. The fully-serviced city will witness massive relocations, from domestic moves to staggered plans of moving state employees to the new government headquarters.
