The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) has released a special silver commemorative coin to mark the bank's 50th anniversary. Each of the 3,000 limited edition coins weighs 60 grams and is priced at AED 650, including delivery.
The coin features a portrait of H. H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with his name in Arabic on one side, and an illustration of the CBUAE building on the other. Inscriptions include "50 Years of the Central Bank of the UAE" in Arabic and English, commemorating the years 1973-2023.
