New Screens at Railway Stations Will Show Available Passenger Seats

Say goodbye to the days of frantic searching for a vacant seat while you’re booking your place on the train - the Egyptian Railway Authority has announced plans to install screens in front of the train ticket reservation counters across various railway stations in Cairo. These screens will display the available seats that have not been reserved for upcoming rides.

The authority is also preparing to open the Upper Egypt Railway Station. The station's finishing touches are being completed, including facades, sidewalks, the first floor, and the installation of the mall's stairs.
