New Smart Paid Parking Service Goes Online in Sharjah

A new smart paid parking system has officially been launched in Sharjah’s Al Khan and Al Nad, offering a total of 392 parking spaces.

Smart cameras scan license plates as vehicles enter and exit the parking zones. The system then calculates the duration of the stay, notifies the driver of the fees, and allows payments to be made seamlessly through the Mawqef app using a credit card or e-wallet.

Motorists can also reserve parking for flexible durations, ranging from one day to a full year, with the option to pay weekly or monthly.
