Police Hospitals to Offer Free Women’s Check-Ups

Police hospitals in Agouza, Tanta, Alexandria and Assiut will provide free evening medical check-ups for women for one week starting December 4th, 2025, following directives from the Ministry of Interior.

The clinics will operate from 5 PM to 8 PM as part of activities marking the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

The initiative is intended to expand access to safe and affordable healthcare for women across several governorates, and forms part of wider efforts by national bodies to support women’s health and protection.

Officials noted that the measure aligns with ongoing programmes aimed at improving services and strengthening support systems for women.
