President El-Sisi Declares Three-Day Mourning Period for Palestine

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has declared a three-day period of national mourning in Egypt to honour the lives lost in the bombing of the Al-Ahli Al-Arabi Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip, as well as all the Palestinian lives lost in the past eleven days, which have exceeded 3,200 deaths.

Counsellor Ahmed Fahmy, spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, conveyed President El-Sisi's decision, emphasising "the depth of sorrow felt by the nation."
