Rigash Revives Monochromatic Metallics in New FW '22/23 Collection

The further we tread 2023’s fashionable waters, the more metallics and monochromatic outerwear we come into contact with. Spotted at shows like Tory Burch, Nensi Dojka, Bottega Veneta, Paco Rabanne, Valentino, Gucci, JW Anderson, Jason Wu and Diesel, the varied glimmering hues and invariant tones are steadily cementing themselves as this year’s overarching trend.
That said, Rigash - the local label that dressed the likes of Ariana Grande, Normani, Shay Mitchel, Dixie D’Amelio and Becky G - has paid homage to the trend with their FW '22/23 collection. “This collection was the first time I found myself gravitating towards colour, more specifically fuschia and silver,” Lamia Rady, founder of Rigash, tells SceneStyled. “We decided to experiment with more vibrant hues unlike our traditional neutral palette whilst still preserving our signature silhouette: broad shoulders, structured shapes, leather and cinched waists.” Their leather corsets and fitted coats bear a flattering feminine outline interspersed with the brand’s darker edgy flair. The collection’s homogenous colour waves are undercut and further bolstered through textured leathers; ones that add a three dimensional element otherwise lost in the monochromatic exteriors.
