Riyadh's PSU Leads Saudi Universities for Research Quality
Time Higher Education’s annual publication is considered one of the most widely observed university rankings in the world.

The Times Higher Education 2025 report has ranked Prince Sultan University as the highest Saudi university in the terms of research quality, with a score of 90.5%. The ranking draws from a number of factors, including citation impact, research strength, research excellence and research influence.
In other areas, however, PSU was outranked significantly; it fell short particularly in categories such as teaching (21.1) and industry (35.5). King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals topped the list for Saudi Arabia with an overall score of 60.1, scoring highly in industry (91.6) and international outlook (92.1).
