Egyptian actor Sedky Sakhr will join the cast of the second season of the hit Ramadan 2023 TV series ‘Kamel El Adad’.
Directed by Khalid El Halafway and co-written by Yousr Taher and Rana Abo El Reesh, the 15-episode comedy series follows the story of a single mother named Laila, who falls in love and starts navigating the challenges of her new relationship while raising four children.
The second season will feature nearly all of the series’ original ensemble cast, led by Egyptian superstars Dina El Sherbiny and Sherif Salama, except for the late Mostafa Darwish, whose character will not be casted. Sakhr, meanwhile, will take on the role of a new character named Karim.
The series’ second season has already begun filming in November 2023, and is scheduled to air in Ramadan 2024.
