Sharjah Police Launches ‘Aman Ya Ramadan’ Safety Series
The 15-episode Ramadan series will address traffic, fraud and public safety issues.
Sharjah Police has launched the ‘Aman Ya Ramadan’ awareness programme in cooperation with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority to promote public safety and encourage responsible community behaviour during the Holy Month.
The series will air throughout Ramadan on Sharjah Television and across Sharjah Police’s social media platforms. It consists of 15 short episodes delivering concise messages on security, traffic and social issues encountered in daily life.
According to Sharjah Police, the programme presents real-life scenarios through brief dramatised scenes designed to communicate clear educational guidance. Each episode concludes with a focused reminder encouraging compliance with safety regulations and reinforcing personal responsibility.
The content addresses behaviours commonly observed during Ramadan, including reckless driving before iftar, improper parking and traffic obstruction, begging, online fraud and the misuse of fireworks. Episodes also highlight home safety, child protection and broader social values such as respect, tolerance and solidarity. Each segment is structured to provide direct and practical takeaways for viewers.
