The Ministry of Sport has announced that Saudi Arabia will host the Spanish Super Cup for the fifth time. The tournament will take place at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah from January 8th to the 12th, 2025, featuring Real Madrid, Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao, and Real Mallorca.

This year's tournament will feature a knockout format. Real Madrid will battle against Real Mallorca on January 8th, 2025, followed by a match between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao on January 9th, 2025. The winners of these matches will meet in the final on January 12th, 2025.

Saudi Arabia previously hosted the Spanish Super Cup four times, with Real Madrid winning the title in 2020 after defeating Atlético Madrid. Other champions include Real Madrid in 2022 and Barcelona, who claimed the title in 2023 by beating Real Madrid. The most recent edition saw Real Madrid lift the cup again in Riyadh earlier in 2024.
