The First Ever Jeddah Al Balad Half-Marathon is Happening this Weekend
Open to all skill levels, the event provides a fun and accessible way to experience Jeddah Al Balad's rich culture.
Lace up your trainers and get ready to race your way through Jeddah Al Balad. On March 2nd, the inaugural Jeddah Al Balad Half Marathon will see athletes of all abilities experience the unique opportunity to run through the scenic streets and landmarks of the UNESCO World Heritage site.
Organised by the Ministry of Sport in collaboration with Saudi Sports for All Federation, the half marathon offers distances of 21 KM, 10 KM, 4 KM and 1 KM. Starting at 6 AM, participants in the main half marathon will cover 21.1 kilometres beginning at the historic Bab Jadid gate. The scenic route will take runners past iconic locations such as the Nassif House museum, Al Matbouli Museum and Al Juffali Mosque. Runners can also enjoy views of the King Fahd Fountain and Jeddah Corniche before crossing the finish line back at Bab Jadid.
Open to all skill levels, the event provides a fun and accessible way for both amateur athletes and families to experience Al Balad's rich culture and history through sport. Online registration is available on premiereonline.com ahead of the big day on March 2nd.
