Three Museums Are Opening Their Doors Across Egypt This Season
These three museums will be found in Alexandria, Saqqara and Manial.
Three different museums will open across Egypt in the coming weeks, according to the museums sector at the Supreme Council of Antiquities.
Amongst these three museums, the Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria and the Imhotep Museum in Saqqara, which are set to display a collection of the rare artefacts unearthed during recent excavations. The Greco-Roman Museum will open soon, while the Imhotep Museum will open a few weeks after it has been fully restored.
The third museum, meanwhile, will be a private museum inside the Mohamed Ali Palace and Museum in Manial. This museum will display a collection of Prince Mohamed Ali’s belongings.
