Two Marine Lines Have Been Developed at Dubai Harbor Creek
These lines link Dubai Creek Harbour with Al Khor Metro station and Dubai Festival City.
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the enhancement of two major marine transport lines, connecting Dubai Creek Harbour to Al Khor Metro station and Dubai Festival City.
Since their launch in August 2022, these lines have experienced a 900% increase in passenger numbers, growing from an average of 3,000 per month to 30,000 per month in 2024. In response to this surge in demand, the RTA has upgraded the services with additional ticket-selling kiosks and new berths for marine vessels.
The line between Dubai Creek Harbour and Dubai Festival City operates on weekend evenings from 4 PM to 11:55 PM. The line connecting Dubai Creek Harbour with Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station and Al Khor Metro Station runs on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 10:50 AM, and from 4 PM to 10:50 PM.
This development is part of a collaboration between the RTA and Emaar Properties, aimed at enhancing transport links for the waterfront community while revitalizing tourist destinations and residential areas. The improvements are expected to increase the number of marine transport users, aligning with the RTA's Marine Transport Master Plan 2020–2030.
