UAE Airports Record 108 Million Passengers in Nine Months

Airports across the UAE recorded 108.59 million passengers in the first nine months of 2025, according to new aviation figures, putting the sector on track to reach nearly 159 million passengers before the end of the year. Abu Dhabi Airports reported 24.29 million passengers from January to September, including 8.49 million travellers in the third quarter. Dubai International Airport handled 70.1 million passengers over the same period and reached a rolling annual total of 93.8 million by the end of September, supported by a record third quarter of 24.2 million passengers. Sharjah International Airport processed 14.2 million passengers during the nine-month period, with 5.13 million travellers recorded in the third quarter, rising from 4.39 million the previous year. New and returning routes from airlines such as China Eastern, Air Seychelles and Ethiopian Airlines contributed to the increase in passenger volumes.
