The country also moved into the top five ranks in 444 indicators, up from 406, and secured a spot in the top 10 for 661 indicators, up from 604 the previous year.
Additionally, the Gulf nation performance was particularly strong in economic and government efficiency, where it ranked second globally in economic performance and fourth in government efficiency and earned top positions in air transport and road quality.
Alongside these improvements, the UAE continued to lead in the Human Development Index and entrepreneurship, ranking first both regionally and globally in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor for the third straight year.
This progress also spurred a boost in direct foreign investment, putting the country in second place worldwide for new FDI projects, just behind the US.
