USD 986 Million Spent on Human Resources in First Half of 2024
The Saudi Human Resources Development Fund has launched Jadarat, which aims to unify employment efforts and collate data.
The Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) has revealed an investment of SAR 3.7 billion (USD 986 million) into programmes and products to support the employment, training, and qualifications of Saudi residents during the first half of 2024.
More than 100,000 establishments nationwide have benefited from this funding, and over 153,000 citizens have been employed in private sector establishments. HADAF has launched a platform entitled Jadarat, or the Unified National Employment Platform, whose goal is to unify employment efforts and collate the data of job seekers in public and private sectors, in order to raise the quality of industry professionals in the country.
Jadarat aims to empower young Saudi residents and allow them to harness the means to develop human capital, as well as increase the competitiveness and efficiency of the labor market, according to Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi.
The platform features an integrated database with the Ministry of Education and the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), and is distinguished by its innovative and unique digital services: multiple modern technologies, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and behavioral sciences with the purpose of providing job matching services, achieving clarity in employment processes, at no cost to the entities that are providing employment.
