WrestleMania 43 to Be Held in Riyadh in 2027

WrestleMania 43 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027, marking the first time WWE’s flagship event takes place outside North America.

Since its inception, WrestleMania has been hosted primarily in cities across the United States, with Toronto the only non-US host in 2002 for WrestleMania X8. Riyadh will now become the second city outside the US to stage the event.

“WrestleMania is already the biggest date on the wrestling calendar and this announcement marks a significant moment in our partnership with WWE," HE Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), said. "As part of Riyadh Season in 2027, our vision is to elevate this iconic event to unprecedented heights and deliver a WrestleMania unlike anything the world has ever seen.”

The 2027 edition builds on WWE’s ongoing partnership with Saudi Arabia, which began in 2018 under a 10-year agreement to host annual premium live events in the Kingdom. Before WrestleMania 43, WWE’s calendar will include the Royal Rumble in Riyadh in January 2026, followed by WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas in April 2026. WrestleMania 42 had originally been planned for New Orleans but was moved to Las Vegas for a second consecutive year.

“HE Turki Alalshikh and GEA have made a massive impact on the world of sports and entertainment," Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Chief Content Officer said. "They have been phenomenal partners to WWE and we look forward to working with them to bring WrestleMania 43 to new heights.”

Future WrestleMania events are expected to return to US cities, with New Orleans and Indianapolis both promised upcoming editions, though dates have yet to be confirmed.
