You Can Now Pay Electronically at Egyptian Railway Stations

Egyptian National Railways has enabled electronic payment with smart cards at railway stations across the country. As part of the first stage of the Ministry of Transport’s initiative to adapt cutting-edge technology to ease the passenger experience in Egypt, 100 point of sale terminals have been installed at ticket reservation offices across 54 railway stations.

These stations include Cairo Station and Giza Station in the governorate of Cairo, and Alexandria Station and Sidi Gaber Station in the governorate of Alexandria.
