You Can Now Pay for Metro Line 1 & 2 Tickets via Visa
The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation activated electronic payment machines across station outlets.
Cairo Metro passengers can now pay by Visa card at all ticket counters and subscription offices on Lines 1 and 2, after the Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation activated electronic payment machines across station outlets on both lines.
The service is being rolled out to make payments easier and faster, saving time and effort and helping to reduce queues at ticket windows linked to change shortages. The activation follows directives from the Minister of Transport Kamel El Wazir, and was confirmed by Managing Director Ali El Fadaly.
Passengers can submit complaints, suggestions and enquiries through the company’s hotline and WhatsApp service, the official Cairo Metro social media page, and the company website. The Unified Government Complaints system also operates desks at a number of stations on the two lines for in-person submissions.
