Youth Empowerment Festival ShababCo is Back This November 18th & 19th

On November 18th and 19th, a new generation of business owners, designers, and artists is set to take over Sheikh Zayed’s Walk of Cairo. From 12 PM to 10 PM, Shababco will extend its youth-led initiative to mentor up-and-coming creatives as well as highlight the most innovative ideas generated by Gen-Zers.

With over 100 exhibitors, the event will host 85 brands including Duet, Ayo and Relax Scent Candles as leading labels. Artists who’ve only just tapped into the scene - from visual artist groovyw0orm’s eccentric art pieces to Hesham Taha’s abstract and provocative perspective - will also be joining the slew of creatives showcasing their work.

Beyond cultivating insane commercial reach, the young exhibitors will have the opportunity to participate in a new incubation initiative dubbed ‘The Shababna Project’. Consisting of four cycles, the project aims to give select participants an opportunity to stretch their talents within their respective fields in a one-month mentorship programme with industry experts.

Each cycle falls under one of their institutional pillars including the performer, the brand owner, and the artist, all of which tie into a collective cycle. Covering a multitude of industries and then melding them together, The Shababna Project will launch alongside this season of Shababco. In partnership with famed rapper Abyusif, designer duo Okhtein and cultural innovators Art d’Egypte, the first phase (which will be based on performance) is currently running until February of 2023.

Shababco is bringing along a few offers as a cherry on top of the whole event, with KIWE joining in on the fun by providing all two thousand attendees with cashless payment options on their own KIWE app.
