The third edition of the Africa Fintech Forum will be held in Cairo on June 24th, 2025, bringing together fintech leaders, regulators, investors, and financial institutions from across the continent. Following earlier editions in Nairobi and Johannesburg, this year’s forum is expected to reinforce Egypt’s growing role as a central hub in Africa’s digital finance ecosystem.
The agenda will include discussions on regulatory frameworks, emerging technologies, and digital finance trends, with a particular focus on the evolving landscape of financial regulation in Egypt. Other key topics will include the integration of AI and machine learning in financial services, the rise of embedded finance and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) models, the shift toward cloud-based payment systems, and innovation driven by women-led fintech ventures. Developments in RegTech and Insurtech are also set to be addressed.
New regulatory frameworks are anticipated to be unveiled during the event, signaling continued efforts to align fintech innovation with institutional oversight. Founders and executives will present financial solutions designed to respond to market needs, while live showcases and matchmaking sessions aim to foster collaboration and attract investment.
