Cairo Design Week Returns for Fourth Edition This November
Running from November 19th to 28th, Cairo Design Week 2026 will place a greater emphasis on international collaboration, public installations and interdisciplinary exchange.
Cairo Design Week is set to return for its fourth edition from November 19th to 28th, transforming parts of the capital into a citywide platform for design, craft and experimentation.
Spanning Zamalek, Downtown Cairo and Heliopolis, the festival will once again turn Cairo into what organisers describe as an open-air museum, with exhibitions, installations and events unfolding across both landmark venues and everyday spaces.
“What began as a platform to showcase Egyptian design has evolved into a meeting point for regional and international creatives, institutions, and brands," Hisham Mahdy, Founder of Cairo Design Week, said. "In 2026, we look forward to creating even more opportunities for collaboration, dialogue, and discovery while continuing to celebrate the incredible talent shaping our industry.”
For its 2026 edition, Cairo Design Week will place a greater emphasis on international participation, interdisciplinary collaboration and design-led encounters, bringing together creatives, institutions, brands and cultural organisations from around the world.
Over the course of 10 days, the city will serve as a stage for conversations around how design influences the ways people live, gather and imagine the future.
An open call for applications is set to launch in the coming weeks, inviting designers, galleries, brands, cultural organisations and industry partners worldwide to participate. Additional details are expected to be announced through Cairo Design Week's official channels.
