Zahi Hawass Unveils New Netflix Documentary ‘The Lost Pyramid’

Renowned Egyptologist Zahi Hawass has unveiled the trailer for the new Netflix documentary, 'The Lost Pyramid', set to premiere on July 3rd. The film is part of the larger four-part docuseries, 'Unknown', which showcases remarkable stories of adventure and exploration in uncharted territories.

In ‘The Lost Pyramid’ - directed by Max Salomon and produced by Leslie Greif and Peter Isacksen - viewers are transported to Saqqara's desert sands, where Hawass embarks on a quest to unearth the long-lost pyramid of a forgotten Egyptian king.

Meanwhile, Dr Mostafa Waziri, archaeologist and Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt, searches for an untouched tomb in an ancient necropolis.

With time running out, both teams race to make groundbreaking discoveries and etch their names in history.
