The Aquarium Grotto Garden, a historical and cultural landmark in Zamalek, is preparing for significant changes aimed at enhancing its appeal as a tourist destination.
The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk outlined a comprehensive development plan that seeks to elevate the garden’s infrastructure and facilities. Key elements of this plan include upgrading the existing infrastructure, renewing surfaces, and developing the water basins to create a more inviting environment.
Plans also involve incorporating more recreational facilities, increasing seating areas, creating walking paths, as well as designing spaces specifically for children.
These enhancements are hoped to enable the Aquarium Grotto Garden to attract more tourists and serve as an educational resource for school and university students.
