Hekayyatna is Hosting an Ancient Egypt-Inspired Dinner in London
Why read history when you can eat it.
Travelling supper club Hekayyatna is hosting an Ancient Egypt-inspired dinner, "From the Nile to the Table," on June 17th at 6:30 p.m. in London.
Built around food, storytelling and conversation, Hekayyatna is the kind of supper club where guests arrive for a meal and leave having shared stories with strangers. Each edition is shaped around a different theme, using food as an entry point into culture, memory and the histories that connect them.
The evening will take place at the Egypt Exploration Society, one of London's leading institutions dedicated to Egyptian archaeology and cultural heritage. For more than a century, the organisation has supported excavations, research and the preservation of Egypt's history.
For this edition, the space will be transformed into an intimate dinner setting, where Egyptian chef Seif El Sobky will reinterpret Ancient Egyptian flavours through a contemporary lens.
Reservations are available through the link in Hekayyatna's bio.
