Red Sea Souk Opens Submissions for 2026 Film Projects Programme

Submissions are now open for the Red Sea Souk film projects programme, which will take place alongside the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah from December 3rd to 12th.

The programme will accept projects in development, production, and post-production stages, with project market activities scheduled between December 5th and 9th.

Organisers said the initiative is designed as a platform connecting filmmakers from the Arab world, Asia, and Africa with producers, financiers, distributors, sales agents, and other industry decision-makers.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to present projects to international production and financing entities, while competing for both cash and in-kind awards.

The Red Sea Souk operates as the festival’s dedicated marketplace for film projects and works in progress, bringing together companies and institutions involved in development, production, sales, and distribution.

The submission deadline for projects in development and production is set for June 11th, while works-in-progress submissions will remain open until July 24th.
