Ancient Egypt-Inspired Homeware Brand ANŪT Opens in La Viennoise
In this restored 130-year-old courtyard, ANŪT is bringing their Egyptian-inspired design and craftsmanship to a new location.
ANŪT, the lifestyle and home décor brand founded in 2024 by Goya Gallagher and inspired by the ancient Egyptian goddess Nut, is opening a new branch at La Viennoise in Downtown Cairo.
Set within the restored 1896 courtyard at the intersection of Champollion and Mahmoud Bassiouny streets, the new store joins a growing mix of local retail and cultural concepts brought into the building by Al Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment.
ANŪT’s collections draw on Egyptian craft traditions, with handmade pieces produced by artisans across the country. The range includes Fayoum pottery, textiles woven in Akhmim, hand-embroidered table linens, decorative sculptures and wall art. Beyond retail, the brand also operates an embroidery training school supporting women working from home, alongside digital workshops and artist residency programmes.
The La Viennoise opening will become ANŪT’s second Cairo location after its flagship store in Zamalek, and its third in Egypt following El Gouna.
