Cairo’s GG&Grace Win International Award for Seychelles Island Resort

Egyptian-based interior design company GG&Grace International have landed an International Property Award for their recently completed Club Med Seychelles Hotel. The prestigious accolade, granted under the award’s Africa & Arabia category, recognises the firm’s superb achievements in the five star hotel’s interior design.

Tucked away amongst the lush green hills of a remote island in the Indian Ocean, Club Med Seychelles is an eco-luxury resort reconciling nature with refinement to create a unique, vibrant and fresh atmosphere for visitors to this paradise getaway. Drawing inspiration from the island’s rich natural environment, the hotel’s furniture, decorations and artworks bring an outdoor spirit to its light and spacious interiors.

Bold blooms of pink, yellow and green picked straight from the island’s rich palette of fauna colour the sofas, rugs, chairs and coffee tables chosen to embellish this luxury resort. Far from garish, the wooden structures and elements found throughout - from tree-like table legs to woven wicker baskets hanging from the ceiling - work to soften the design, coalescing with the hardwood flooring to create a snug and cosy feeling for hotel guests searching for that extravagant outdoors experience.

While graphic jungle print carpets and leaf-like loungers bring the outside in, jacuzzi bathtubs offering panoramic views onto the island’s mangroves carry hotel residents right to the water’s edge. Hues of blue and green wash throughout, creating a sense of wellbeing and serenity that seamlessly blends with this Indian Ocean island’s dreamy aesthetic.
