Art Deco Dining Destination 'The Lighthouse' Lands in Dubai Hills
From all-nighter parties to book readings, the new Lighthouse will have it all.
Across the bustling streets of Dubai, a certain dining establishment keeps a sense of harmonious community held down despite the fast-paced nature of the city. The Lighthouse is not simply a restaurant - and a very fine one at that - it’s an organic space for connection, one where artists and creatives continuously come together to watch their ideas come to fruition through conversation. Now, The Lighthouse is heading to the community in Dubai Hills, bringing with it an air of haute artistry to the destination.
Designed by renowned British architect David Archer, whose previous projects include Chiltern Firehouse and The Standard in London, the new Lighthouse exhibits a blend of contemporary luxury and comfort, presenting as a masterpiece in and of itself. The restaurant offers bar seating, cosy lounges and high tables to cater to a diverse clientele. Additionally, the restaurant will offer new additions to their menu, blending their classic Mediterranean style with cuisine classics created by an award-winning culinary team. The bar will also be getting an upgrade, with an exclusive cocktail menu crafted by some of the region’s most talented mixologists.
To stay true to their ethos of preserving community above all, the restaurant will host all kinds of events - from all-night parties to wine tastings to book readings.
Since its establishment in 2017 in Dubai Design District, The Lighthouse has been a cornerstone of the arts and culture scene in the Emirates - because when artists get hungry (starving or otherwise), the best they can do is head to a spot that reflects a cool, nonchalant art deco personality. As The Lighthouse expands across the UAE, with hopes to open their first Saudi branch in Riyadh by the end of 2024, the art deco discipline is becoming more and more widespread - and our strappy black dresses are so here for it.
