Daring Stunt Kicks Off the World Supercross Championship on Yas Island
The stunt saw renowned car drifter Ahmed Daham drive as a supercross bike soared overhead.
Yas Marina Circuit recently buzzed with excitement as renowned car drifter Ahmed Daham showcased an impressive stunt, igniting anticipation for the World Supercross Championship (WSX) finale scheduled for December 4th at Etihad Arena.
Known for his record-breaking skills and as a Red Bull ambassador, Daham performed in a modified Lexus R while a supercross bike soared over his car, setting the tone for the exhilarating motorsport event. The WSX finale will see 32 elite riders compete on a challenging indoor track, adding to the excitement of the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix taking place concurrently.
“As a professional who's used to four wheels, I have to admit, what these guys pull off on bikes is just on another level,” Ahmed Daham tells SceneNowUAE. “It's wild—the tricks, the speed and the excitement. For fans eager to be part of the action, tickets for the 2-day experience start at AED 95. This includes access to both the WSX finale and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Fan Zone, as well as the Yasalam After-Race Concert series featuring performances by Teddy Swims and Peggy Gou.
