Peruvian-Japanese Fusion Restaurant Kuuru Opens in Riyadh’s KAFD
Hailing from the shores of Jeddah, this fine-dining restaurant uses Japanese culinary techniques to enhance Peruvian flavours.
Geographically, there are about 16,000 kilometres between Peru and Japan. But as the success of Kuuru, an award-winning restaurant in Jeddah, can attest, these seemingly distant cultures have the potential to bring out the best in each other.
Featuring dishes like ceviche-based appetiser Peruvian Wasabi, Kuuru’s menu is a delicious exploration that transcends borders. And now, this Saudi brand is bringing this fusion of flavour even further afield with its new restaurant in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District. Citizens of the Saudi capital are now able to experience the magic of Kuuru without the inconvenience of long-distance travel.
A collaboration between Peru’s MCK Hospitality and Saudi’s own Leylaty Group, Kuuru was recently honoured by its inclusion on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants list, a sought-after indicator of culinary quality which was put together by a unique group of culinary experts.
