The weather is warming. The sun is shining. And at Via Riyadh and the Jeddah Yacht Club, the deals are sizzling. Summer is here, and with it are more reasons than ever to while away the hours in a blur of good food and good people. Need another? Introducing Cool Inc’s Culinary Festival, a succulent celebration of all things in good taste.

Eleven restaurants have cooked up special menus that are just the things to spice up the start of the summer season. Featuring live music and fabulous flavours, this foodie fest is offering a veritable buffet of dining options. Wondering what you’ll find at this gastronomic gala? Here’s everything you need to know about the deals and dishes of this culinary festival…

Spago

Location: Via Riyadh
When: Every Friday in May
Price: SAR 180 - SAR 290 per person

This summer, why not take a trip to California? That’s the flavour trip Spago is offering to the people of Riyadh. This menu features renowned chef Wolfgang Puck’s decadent culinary creations. Every Friday in May, get a taste of America’s Golden State with carefully curated menus paired with exquisite specialty mocktails. A well-rounded array of seasonal specialties make up this menu, including wild mushroom risotto, tender rack of lamb, and Wolfgang’s signature Wienerschnitzel. Live entertainment and an enchanting atmosphere round out this delicious affair.

Scott’s

You’ll find smooth tunes and sophisticated flavours at Scott’s this summer. Scott’s lunch menu features items like pan-seared sea bream with artichokes, delicate yellowtail sashimi and raspberry pavlova, and for dinner this restaurant is serving up decadence in the form of crispy duck and foie gras. The aromas of these delicious foods weave with the silky jazz melodies of this venue’s 50s-inspired live entertainment.

chi SPACCA

Summer and barbecue – a classic. At chi SPACCA, this delicious pairing is elevated with a premium selection of meats, from succulent briskets to wet-aged Australian angus steaks. In addition to tender, high-quality cuts, this menu features favourites like cheesy focaccia di recco and torta della nonna – all inspired by the energy and ambiance of summer gatherings in Los Angeles.

Raoul’s

This May, Raoul’s is serving up funky vibes and fresh flavours in an homage to 1970s New York. This restaurant’s set menu will have you grazing, and their live DJs will have you grooving. Starving for a soiree? Look no further than Bianca. This restaurant is ushering in the summer with a menu that promises to satiate. You’ll find light salads, hearty pastas, succulent steaks and heavenly tiramisu at this dinner-date dream of a destination.

Gymkhana

Location: Via Riyadh
When: Starting May 1st and lasting all summer
Price: SAR 284 per person

Looking to add a little spice to your summer? Then you should definitely take a look at Gymkhana’s new set menu. Choose between creamy kid goat methi keema and Lasooni wild tiger prawns with fiery red pepper chutney, and enjoy papadum alongside aloo chaat and tamarind served. And when your feast is almost over, satisfy your sweet tooth with either gold leaf Badami Kheer or syrupy Gulab Jamun.

Joan’s On Third

This restaurant is starting summer by focusing on what’s most important: friends and family. This May, Joan’s On Third is bringing you family brunch bites and vibes with a brunch buffet and an array of activities for all ages, including arts and crafts that are designed to bring together the people that matter the most. Their Saturday events are sure to feed the heart and soul, as well as the body.

Madeo

Location: Via Riyadh and the Jeddah Yacht Club
When: Every Tuesday in May at Via Riyadh, and all summer long at the Jeddah Yacht Club 
Price: SAR 175 - SAR 200 per person

Madeo is celebrating May at both of their locations! At Via Riyadh, this restaurant is offering sweet live music alongside a set menu you’ll want to savour. Before you go, make sure you prepare yourself to choose between succulent sea bream served with tomatoes and olives and tender grilled lamb chops - and then for another choice between luscious tiramisu and creamy panna cotta. We know, it’s hard, but remember - Via RIyadh is serving these specials every Tuesday in May, so you’ve got some time to try it all.

For those in Jeddah, don’t worry! Madeo has some summer specials planned for its Jeddah Yacht Club location. Take a trip through Italy with a set menu straight from The Beautiful Country. Melanzane alla Parmigiana, Polpette Della Nonna, Spaghetti Bolognese and Scaloppine Al Limone and more are just some of the decadent dishes adorning this menu. And if you were hoping to see tiramisu (who doesn’t?) on the menu, well then we are happy to tell you you’re in luck. Madeo at Jeddah Yacht Club is keeping the Italian flavour coming all summer long.

Le Vesuvio

Le Vesuvio is combining the magic of a summer sunset with the magic of the aperitivi. Their Summer Sunset Sessions feature a curated mocktail-tree display that gives you the chance to sip and relax as the sun goes down over the Red Sea. Not only will you find incredible mocktails; you’ll also have the chance to nibble on your choice of artisanal charcuterie boards before you dive into your chosen entree.

Emmy’s Squared Pizza

Location: Jeddah Yacht Club
When: Every Thursday in May

Serving burgers, pizza, and wings all year-round, Emmy’s Squared Pizza is an expert in the kind of luxe-yet-laid-back cuisine that is perfect for summer. To get this season off to a sizzling start, this eatery is offering a Seasonal Special Fest Tray! You can sample this tasty offer at their Happy Hour, held every Thursday in May.

Le Comptoir de Nicole

Location: Jeddah Yacht Club

Refinement meets flavour on Le Comptoir de Nicole’s set summer menu.
