American Hospital Dubai Partners With Abbott on Cancer Detection

American Hospital Dubai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abbott to introduce next-generation early cancer detection technology to the UAE, strengthening the country's capabilities in early diagnosis.

Under the agreement, American Hospital Dubai said it will become the first private healthcare provider in Dubai to offer the advanced early-stage cancer detection solution. The collaboration aims to advance the use of innovative cancer detection technologies in clinical settings across the UAE.

The two organisations said earlier diagnosis plays a critical role in improving cancer care and patient outcomes, adding that the introduction of advanced detection technologies supports national efforts to reduce cancer mortality through earlier intervention.

Abbott is a global healthcare company operating across diagnostics, medical devices, nutrition and branded generic medicines.
