Cairo University Signs Medical Partnership With Shanghai Jiao Tong
Kasr Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine and Shanghai Jiao Tong University will collaborate on research, education and clinical training initiatives.
Cairo University's Kasr Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine has launched a new partnership initiative with Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China focused on scientific research, medical education and clinical training.
The collaboration will support joint research projects, academic exchange and training opportunities between the two institutions as part of Cairo University's wider efforts to expand international partnerships.
According to Cairo University President Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, Kasr Al-Ainy's experience in medical education and disease prevention provides a foundation for broader international cooperation in healthcare and research.
Dean of Kasr Al-Ainy Faculty of Medicine Hossam Salah said the visit to China was aimed at opening new channels for collaboration, with a focus on knowledge exchange and developing medical training programmes.
The partnership also forms part of Cairo University's strategy to increase cooperation with leading international institutions and expand opportunities for joint academic programmes.
