Discounted Digital School Parking System Introduced in Dubai

Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority and Parkin have introduced a new digital school parking subscription system offering reduced parking fees for students and educational institutions across the emirate.

Under the programme, subscriptions are priced at AED 100 per month or AED 1,000 annually, with authorities stating that the system can reduce parking costs by up to 80% for eligible users.

According to the announcement, the system replaces manual approvals and paper-based submissions previously required from schools with a digital process designed to speed up eligibility verification.

The initiative is also intended to simplify parking access for students, parents, and educators while improving traffic management around school campuses.

Parkin stated that it will additionally provide parking management support during major school events to help improve accessibility and traffic flow.
