Free Dental Screenings Offered to Public Kindergarten Pupils
The programme will provide free oral and dental checks for kindergarten pupils in public schools across the UAE.
Kindergarten pupils in public schools across the UAE will receive free oral and dental health screenings under a new national prevention programme led by the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Emirates Health Services, with screenings focused on the early detection of dental caries, gum disease and other oral health conditions that may affect children’s health, development and ability to learn.
Families will be able to take their children to government health centres operated by Emirates Health Services or to participating private healthcare facilities for the checks. The screenings will be offered free of charge to kindergarten pupils enrolled in public schools nationwide.
