Free Mobile Health Screenings Roll Out in Sharjah’s Aljada
The campaign targets early detection of diabetes, blood pressure and obesity through on-site screenings.
Emirates Health Services has launched a free mobile health screening campaign in Aljada, deploying four clinics to provide check-ups for UAE nationals and GCC citizens aged 18 and above.
The initiative, part of the Etmaenan programme, focuses on early detection of lifestyle-related conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. Medical teams are offering comprehensive assessments on site, with results used to guide follow-up care where needed.
The mobile units are equipped with diagnostic technology and staffed by specialised healthcare professionals, allowing screenings to be completed in a single visit. Results are integrated into electronic medical records to support continuity of care and future monitoring.
The campaign is designed to bring healthcare services into accessible community locations, making routine checks more convenient and encouraging participation in preventive care. Officials noted strong engagement from residents since the rollout began in Aljada.
